CLENA once again gold sponsor for Team Rynkeby Flensburg

CLENA was once again a Gold Sponsor of Team Rynkeby Flensburg in the 2025/2026 season. As in the 2023/2024 season, we supported a project that raises funds for seriously ill children and their families. In Germany, Team Rynkeby supports the Deutsche Kinderkrebsstiftung (German Childhood Cancer Foundation). We are pleased to have supported the Flensburg team's fundraising campaign once again.

Cycling to Paris for seriously ill children

Team Rynkeby is an international charity project. Every year, the participating teams cycle to Paris and raise funds. The project brings together cyclists, the support crews accompanying them on the tour, and companies that support the fundraising campaign.

From 4 to 11 July 2026, Team Rynkeby Flensburg cycled from Flensburg to Paris.

The work begins long before departure. Alongside training, participants help raise funds. They spend many months working together to support children and families who need help.

How the German Childhood Cancer Foundation helps

The Deutsche Kinderkrebsstiftung supports children and young people with cancer and their families from diagnosis, throughout treatment and beyond. It provides information and advice, helps families facing financial hardship, and funds research aimed at improving treatment options and chances of recovery.

Recovery after demanding treatment is another part of its work. Its programmes include family rehabilitation at the SyltKlinik and the Waldpiraten-Camp. These services give affected children and their families time to recover and meet others with similar experiences.

Gold Sponsorship again in the 2025 to 2026 season

Following our Gold Sponsorship in the 2023/2024 season, we supported Team Rynkeby Flensburg at the same sponsorship level in 2025/2026. This allowed us to make a further contribution to the fundraising campaign. As a company based in Flensburg, we are pleased to have continued this partnership.

For us, the children and their families are at the heart of this support. They are the reason for Team Rynkeby's dedication. We appreciate everyone who gives their time to the project and encourages others to get involved.

Community engagement in Flensburg
